What Placeful is

Placeful is a home inventory that starts with a photo. One photo of an open drawer becomes a card for each thing Placeful finds inside, with a suggested name you can fix. When you need something later, search for it, and Placeful shows you where it lives.

It runs in your browser today at app.placefulapp.com, installs to your phone’s home screen like any app, and an iOS beta is available through TestFlight.

Where to start

• Getting started covers signing in, your first capture, and installing the app on your phone.
• The sample home is a furnished inventory you can explore before photographing anything of your own.
• Capturing things explains the camera flow, voice capture, and capturing several things from one photo.

If something here does not match what you see in the app, tell us. Placeful moves quickly and the docs chase it.
